I am so happy for my ex husband!

Strange title I know :laughing:

But I am :D

He picked up DS this afternoon and we were just chatting at the front.

He was telling me about something and mentioned he was seeing someone.

I asked how old she was, where she was from, the usual.

She's 30yrs old and he's 24yrs old and to be honest, I am SOOO happy about this.

I am so much more comfortable with him seeing someone that is his age or older rather than some 18 year old ( no offence to anyone around this age, just a motherly instinct kicking in hehe).

I just couldn't believe the amount of happiness I felt for him.

I think the fact that he has been SO good with peter too helps a lot as well. It shows me he is maturing and isn't going to let a woman come before peter, like it did in the past.

So I'm very happy :) Also because I know that me being happy about it shows I have moved on emotionally, and that makes me feel on top of the world!

Also feeling this way makes me feel more confident about our divorce process too that will be coming up in the next couple of months.:yes:

Aww Nat, that is just wonderful news. And you are right, it really shows how much he has matured over the last few months.

It sounds to me like you have both moved on so much now and are in such comfortable places in your lives. Your maturity going through this has been amazing and its wonderful to see that he too, is now stepping up to the plate.

Ash I'm so glad that we are able to maintain our friendship too. After all we are very close and know each other so well, so it would be silly for us not to maintain that, especially, as like you said, it will and is benefiting peter SO much.
