My earliest memory is.... admiring my big sister riding her bike down a friends driveway and wanting to try it myself.. so I geared up my trike, closed my eyes, kept them closed as the wind rushed by... then opened them in time to see myself crash STRAIGHT into a barbed wire fence. Ouch. last time I admire my sister!!!
I wish I had.... enough money to go on an African Safari!
My happiest memory is.... Oh.. my wedding day.. but more so when I got to the top of the hill and my dad met me, linked arms... then at the bottom, my Grandad met me, linked my other arm and they both walked my up the aisle.
My most humiliating moment was.... oh.. hmm.. well.. I'm a teacher aide, you see, and when I was new I was asking the kids to pack up the sports shed when I walked in to make sure they were doing it right... they locked me in!! I was calling out for them to open up, and finally they did - well they did.. the BOSS DID! :o
My last meal would be.... anything with a glass of diet coke.
When I was a child I wanted to.... oh goodness.. this is more embarrassing than my embarrassing moment... I had high aspirations as a child - I wanted to be a police dog  yes, that's true... I then wanted to be a nurse but realised I'd have to stick needles in people and that soon went away.
It's not fashionable but I love.... Kasey Chambers. And tracksuit pants.
The last big belly laugh I had was.... when I asked Cobey who the photo was of (him) and he smiled, pointed to my chest and said "YOOOOOOU!!!" just like we'd done to him.
If I were a car I'd be.... a buggy.. just so I could punch my sister whenever she visited :p
If I wasn't me I'd like to be.... Meg Ryan.. she has the best hair.

Hellooo! I'll start with my name - Nikki I'm mum of one cheeky boy and Teacher Aide extraordinaire (Yes, I told my boss that I'd like that extension on my next name badge).
I'll just get right onto the questions, I have a habit of rambling.
1. Are you married or single?
I have been married for 4 years, and with my husband for 8! :D
2. What sort of birth did you have?
I had a natural VB in a hospital, with Gas, begging for the epidural but it never arrived because Cobey decided to make a quick entry into the world. I'd love to have a home birth for the next one, but husband has vetoed it.
3. Preferred parenting style?
I'm a little hippy *grin* I breastfed Cobes for 20 months (and worked since he was 6 months old), we co-slept until he was 15 months. I tried the cloth nappies but they're not for me... I'm a bit commercial, I like to read and make my own choices.. I wouldn't fit in any box. Cobey is free-ranged, our back door remains open and he is free to run in and out as he pleases, I'm not one to follow him around.. but I do keep an ear out (and the occasional eye)
4. Do you have brothers and sisters?[/B]
Yes, one of each!
5. * Are they older or younger than you?
Both older, it surprises none that I'm the baby of the family ;)
6. Have you ever met a famous person?
Yes, many.. I was a Taxiride Groupie for a while when they were in, met them a few times, in my old job I met Alan Border (which was funny because I didn't realise who he was when I called him "Hi Mr Border just wondering if...." then the other admin told me heehee) When I was a cashier at Harvey Norman in Brisbane City I served a few famous people like Mike Goldman and Scod (of Tripod fame)
7. What countries have you visited?
Only NZ... I've got NZ blood in me, and I change my nationality as to whoever is winning the rugby! (Kiwi at the moment! GO THE ALL BLACKS!)
8. What do you do on Sundays?
I have eggs on toast for breakfast with Cobes, then tend to mooch around at home, or try to get the husband out and about. I love to go to the markets on a sunday, and spending an hour or so in a park never goes astray.
9. What kind of people do you not like?
Um... this is a tough one because it's not so much a kind of person I don't like, it's more just personality clashes... I guess I don't like people that have too many tickets on themselves.. and I hold a resentment for those skinny people who complain about being skinny ( I kid!)
10. Who has had the most influence in your life?
My Grandad... although not for what he did, but more because he existed, and he always answered the phone and spoke to me like I was 9, no matter my age, I appreciated that, I felt young and youthful (she says at her old age of 26). He held me as we watched my mum die, he helped me save money so I could go and visit him (In NZ), and his last words to me were "I love you." He was so powerful to my life, and I don't think he really knew.
11. Would you like to be famous?
Heck-to-the-no! I'm a private person. I'd like to be RICH but I wouldn't like to be famous.
12. How many different towns or cities have you lived in?
I'm a Brissie girl, born and raised... I did a 6 month 'stint' in Toowoomba after leaving school, but then I was back to Brissy!
13. Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets?
Sunsets.. they are stunning... sunrise tends to simply remind me that another work day has started... *sigh*
14. What was the last book you read?
The Bare-Stripped Bride! :o What a raunchy one that is!!
15. What's your favourite food?
I love a good sandwich, you know. And toasted ones are better... I'm a sucker for a good salad sandwich though... lucky I'm good at making them!
16. Do you live in a house or an apartment/flat or other?
3 bedroom house with Cobes, Chris and Jam (the german shep x kelpie) I love having a yard to let my free-range kid run in!
17. How tall are you?
:o 161cm tall. I'm SHORT (and I wonder why I have a short child)
18. What are your hobbies?
I don't have much time for hobbies! I do like to play around with internet stuff, like webpages, I haven't done one in a long time. I can cross stitch quite well and am thinking of picking it back up again (it annoyed me when my SILs both decided they'd make it their hobby too just after I picked it up last time) I loved quilting when I was doing it, maybe I'll do that again.
19. What's something you do well?
I know something I don't do well - that's toot my own horn! heh! OH I'm very good at googling. Once I was trying to find that song "Baker St" (you know, with the awesome sax solo) anyway, all I could remember was the sax solo, so I googled "ba da baa da ba daa ba da da da daaaa" and a few other keywords (not lyrics) and found it! How awesome is that? heehee My google-fu is very good.
20. Which sports do you like to watch/play?
I'd love to get back into netball, and I love to watch the Rugby (Union... especially when the All Blacks are whooping those Wobblies bums!)... I also don't mind watching a bit of... :o... Lawn Bowls.
21. Are you a 'morning' or 'night' person?
Morning person, definitely... I wake before my family so i can have a shower and sit around and think before kicking into mum mode... I start to lose it in the afternoons.
22. What is your motto?
Is this a motto - those who are flexible will never be bent out of shape?
If not, a good ol' "Party On, Wayne." never goes astray.
