Hi Ladies,
I'm 21, and 13 wks pregnant, still getting very bad morning sickness, and always tired. work is stressing me out really bad and i want to leave but my partner says not yet, how do i explain to him that the stress and travel each day is just tiring me so much?

Hi there,

I had terrible morning sickness with all my pregnancies and it is the pits!!!!!!!!!!!!

With my first 2 I refused to take any medication as I was worried it would harm the baby but this time with no 3 and a 2yr & 3 yr old at home I just had to and now I can't believe I struggled through without it the last 2 times.

Go to your doctor and speak to them, they put me on Zofran which I couldn't get through a day without although it is a category B drug there is also other ones like Maxalon.

Take it from me if you can take the medication you will get through these early weeks so much easier.

I really understand what ur going through, I worked till the end with number 1 and it was so hard...
Luckily this time I'm at home with DD, and running around after her whilst pregnant is hard too.

I found that by about week 15 the morning sickness goes & I suddenly have heaps of energy.. So maybe try to keep at work for a few more weeks and see if this happens for you :)

If that doesnt work - Just say to him "I'm chucking it in, deal with it" :laughing: The health of you and your baby comes before anything

I totally know how u feel... I have just started a new job but just under full time hours....

where I work u can also work part time then increase your hours at the end to say full time and u get full time maternity pay....

are u able to decrease your hours where u work... it makes such a difference
or can u take some leave from work

I am 12 weeks preg and all I have done all day is rested on the couch had a shower hung out some clothes and thats about it (well the high lights anyway)

hope some of my ideas are helpful... do u have an understanding boss
