Hi there, just wanting some info to whether these pocket nappies r good or not. Im going to put my 7 month old into mcn's for daytime, and have found these at a good price.
Also, if anyone can tell me the best daytime inserts to get - hes not a heavy wetter but has big sleeps so it could be 4 hrs between changes at times.
Thanks!!

ETA - ive seen hemp fleece, and bamboo velour on ebay - is this what id use for inserts????? would i have to sew??

i've never heard of baby cheeks before

but i'd steer clear on anything on ebay.

pocket nappies in general are good nappies

check out things like greenkids.

i just had a look at them on ebay

your best of getting something that made either from PUL or has PUL in it

as the baby cheeks are only polyester.

which isnt very breathable and i dont know how it would go leak wise either

PUL is very breathable and is very water proof too!

I bought some of the babycheeks and given the price they are pretty good value for money.

A lot of PUL that I have come across when making my nappies is 100% Polyester and the outers of these seem practically identical to my magicalls.

The problem with the snaps arent huge and can be easily worked around so you wouldnt even know they are seconds.

So far I havent had any leaks with them and am using Hemp inserts that I made myself. All I did was cut it up and hemmed 3 edges turned it the other way and sewed up the last edge.. easy peasy... Doesnt really matter what they look like as you dont see them. I'm using 4 layers which seems fine. I got that from Bubba Earth.

So if you're looking for a cheap nappy to start off with go for it. They arrived within a week too.
