How far along are you? If you're almost due and this is a new thing, I'd speak to your midwife about it.
I'm 33 weeks along, and I've been dealing with this issue pretty much the whole pregnancy. I think it's just your body "lubing up" for the big event :D The only thing I can suggest is panty liners, unfortunately!!!

yeah ive had it all along but it seems worse now. I am 35 weeks on friday... im wondering if i should go down to maternity and get them to check that my cervix isnt open or anything... can they tell if my waters are broken?

Also i read somewhere that your waters dont break with the second child until way into the labour... with my first it was the first thing to happen so this time i dont know what to do!

Both times I was pg I got really heavy discharge (clear) after about 25 weeks and it just kept getting heavier. As far as I know it is pretty normal for your body to start "leaking" lots during pregnancy. As The Queen said, if it is a new thing, maybe just mention it to your GP/OB/Midwife and see what they say.
Edited to add, my waters broke 12 hours before DD1 was born and only 40 minutes before DD2 was born. But, if it was your waters breaking, you would know - gush

Yeah i know... there is ALOT of liquid when that happened the first time!! But ive heard of them breaking and just leaking out slowly... thats the only reason i was worried... cos if thats the case id like to know... for obvious reasons!! 1. i dont want to get an infection to the baby, and 2. the baby will come out soon lol

I had my waters broken artificially with my first child, so I'm not sure how it works naturally. But yeah they can tell, with a vaginal exam, if your plug is gone and you've started dilating. And I think (if you have a pad/knickers with the discharge on it - sorry, bit gross hey!) if you take that in with you, they do a test (kinda like a preg test) and can tell if it's just discharge or if it's amniotic fluid.
If you're really stressing about it, just ring the maternity ward and ask them. They might want you to come in for a check. If nothing else, it will set your mind at ease. Good luck!!! Hey, maybe your bubba has decided it's time to make an appearance!!!!!!!:smiliedance:

I would just ring the hospital and ask them, if they think you should be checked out then they will ask you to go in. It is better to be safe then sorry.
Good luck and let us know how you go.

Sticky baby dust to all.

Hey guys... i called them, they want me to come in to test the discharge (just like you said queen!!) and they said dont rush cos bub is moving and ive had no bleeding or pain so they arent really worried but they'd like to find out what the problem is!
Thanks for all your advice... Now i just have to wait until 3.30 to go down (i have no car).
Keep you posted if its something big... i dont even have my bag packed so it better not be the baby yet!! Hehe

Hi all im back!!! Havent had a chance to reply yet sorry!!
Everything is fine.. its not amniotic fluid! So looks like i just am overly lubricated hahaha TMI!!!
Thanks everyone for you support and help while i was panicing! Bub is happy and content in there and not yet engaged so im thinking he or she will be waiting a while yet which im happy about. 35 weeks isnt too early but a couple more weeks at least would be better!!
I dont have any feelings about having a newborn at easter time so im hopeing it can wait just that extra week till due time!!
Oh im kind of excited now!! Its been hard to get excited cos i have a 3 year old that is running me down and im worried i wont bond with this bub as easily but wont it be nice to hold a little baby again!! Yay!
Thanks again, sorry for my blabbering!
