i had a message late last night from Sabine and she had Emma by c/s.

i now have some stats,
little miss Emma weighed in at 3.380 kg
she is 49cm
and her HC was 35.5cm.
both mum and bub are doing well and are hoping to be home on Saturday.

Thanks for the congrats - we are home now and most of the time ... Emma is a very happy baby.

She finally made her entry with an emergency c/section ... my waters broke on Sunday (20.01.) and nothing happend on this day. No contractions :no:. Was induced on Monday morning but until 3.00 pm only 3 cm dilated. Then the Dr. made the decision and after 30 Minutes preparation we were proud parents within the following 30 minutes :yes:.

It turned out that she managed to move in the last minute. A natural birth was not possible.

Her first outing was yesterday .... but she was not impressed to see a firework. Maybe next year?

Think I will not leave the house much this week - but if anyone wants to see her ... just give me a quick call.

maybe when you are up to it we can go out for coffee, or you are always welcome to come over here.
