Not sure who the ad is for, but it starts out with a couple in bed, goes through the stages of pregnancy, the belly getting bigger etc, different ways of sleeping... then there's the baby in between them both - then there's 2 kids in there with them  The slogan is something like "Shouldn't your bed change with your family?" I LOVE IT!!

I love that ad, it reminds me of weekend mornings when I was growing up. I would be up at sparrows fart and I would crawl in with Mum and Dad and wake them up!! I can't wait until my kids do that. DP is not so excited about it as his family never did anything like that, I guess with 9 kids there probably wasn't enough room or maybe it is just culture.

I am really not looking forward to DD coming into our bed on a regular basis. I am a very light sleeper, DP is a snorer, we have 3 cats who like to sneak in who usually manage to take up the most room, and DD throws herself around a lot while she is sleeping. Last time she was in our bed, she ended up across the bed. So guess who usually gets kicked out while the rest of them are all nice and cosy!!
It sounds cute. Why is that children sleep like starfishes:confused: I am always getting pushed out:mad:
oh yes i seen that ad and it is so true,i love it:thumbsup: co sleeping is a part of life wheather its all the time or they have had a bad dream all my children spent time in my bed, even on a sunday morning when im having a lie in and dad takes care of bub,my 15 year old larissa comes and lays with mummy wanting a cuddle!

We have a great book called "The Biggest Bed In the World". It's all about a growing family and how the mum and dad accomodate them. I love it and so do my two older ones. They have been listening to it since they were about 2 years old. If you come across it, grab it as it is really beautiful.

im so glad there are other families out there that love that ad also. i love it cos we are co-sleepers...well mainly i am as dh works night shift so he leaves at 5pm get home at 5am in bet at 6am and elise and i are out by 6-7am so he co-sleeps for about an hour lol he was a bit iffy about it at first, but i said to him, are you going to get up and check on her that she hasnt frozen to death (the spot for the cot, and the only spot was right where the a/c blew and even though it was winter we had it on for airflow as we had no fan and we were still living with dh parents at the time... ) and when shes hungry get out and get her for me lol he decided co-sleep was a great idea after that and now the thought of moving elise over to a bed or cot is just heartbreaking to him (elise is 10mth but only tiney. shes just under 7kgs so not much room is taken up hehe)
great to see other parents bonding so closely with their little ones...keep up the great work! :smiliedance:

Hi Tanni,
The Biggest Bed In the World is by Lindsay Camp, illustrated by Jonathan Langley, first published 1999. Good luck as it is a beautiful story!
