Macca and Vitex

Since we have been TTC #2, I have have been looking into all the options to help my cycles and all that. I

have been taking Macca Root for a few months now, but was reading about Vitex as well. Actually a tea that has Vitex in it.

Does anyone know if it is safe to take both the Macca and the Vitex?

I would take both... but thats just me. I tried both separately. Vitex gave me BAD PMS.
Macca Root - I got my BFP second month on it. Was taking it with B6 to lengthen my LP.

The Macca has been great for my cycle and also my sex drive! I am even getting DH on it since I have read it helps with men's fertility as well.

How did you have the Vitex? I have seen it in liquid and tablet form.

Hi

I take vitex in a liquid capsule form - its called vitex 1000. Simple to swallow, highly recommend it!!!

I tried the maca and it did nothing for either of us except to make us gag every time we took it.

I used both at the same time, but stopped the maca after a month cos it wasnt doing anything and tasted ferel!

Has anyone taken the Macca root tablets or capsules??
I'm starting to look into alternative ways to help fertility & get my cycle back to normal after being on the Pill for 8 yrs.
Does anyone else have other ideas to help fall preggies?? Old wives tales??

This is my 3rd cycle with the Maca and it has really helped to regulate my cycle more. I don't know of much else, except Vitex and Maca. Have a browse around here and google to see. Good Luck!

I first tried the macca powder and it made me gag and I stopped. But then I found the tablets and took those!! MUCH better. :yes:
