I am ! I never had them with dd but have been having them for a few weeks now ! I asked the midwife about them and she said that they often start around this time so I'm not worried now- I was worried I'd have a premmie !:)

No BH's yet, but a couple of times in the last week I've been having little bouts of nausea and tonight I actually :barf:, first time ever in this pregnancy (actually, first time ever in any of my pregnancies).
However, I've had so much stuff going on what with my birthday, christmas stuff, trip overseas, DD's birthday and today was the last of it all and I think I'm just a little run down and really tired. Need to rest and recharge. The nausea seems to happen when I'm really tired, like to the point where I can't keep my eyes open. Guess it's my body's way of telling me that I'm not getting enough rest.

i havnt had any BH, but then again, i dont really have anything to relate to. i dont really know what to look our for, or even what they feel like. im affraid ill go into labour and not even know it
ive been having alot of discomfort and finding it very hard to sleep at night. my tummy feels weird and i dont know why. doc at the hospital said its just bruising from bubs kicking me, but her kicks dont seem hard enough to bruise. but then again our insides arnt as tough as our shells! does anyone know of anything that will make me sleep better?, as im not being able to get to sleep til the sun rises in the morning.

MJ, great idea for a thread.:yelclap:
I haven't had any BHs at all yet but definitely going through times of discomfort.
I find the only thing that helps me sleep at night is when I support my tummy well. I can't sleep on my left side, it's just too painful but with a pillow under my tummy on the right hand side, I am back to sleeping really well.
I know I talk about it all the time, but it's a 'Moshi Neck Roll' from Pillowtalk. Was about $14 and is the most amazing comfort and support for my tummy - it's been a Godsend. I was really having major sleeping issues before that.
Apart from that, I have some SPD - trying to get my pelvis actually moving without severe pain in the morning is a challenge at the moment. Can't complain though, bubba is doing really well:thumbsup:

I didn't have any with DD that I was aware of, but trust me, you'll know when you're in full labour  took me about 4 hours of very mild, irregular contractions (which I thought might have been the BH's that everyone in the thread was talking about) and then managed to sleep overnight before waking in the morining and realising that with 10 mon regulars it probably was actually labor

From what my ob told me last time, there's really only one side that we should be sleeping on for maximum blood and oxygen flow to bubs....problem is I can't remember which side it is  Have an appt Tues, so will have to try and remember to ask!!

I am wondering if that's what I felt the last couple of days - sudden tight feeling above my pelvis - especially when I walk up hill? - only lasts a few seconds or so, almost thought I was imagining it - what are BH's? I've suddenly got big in the last week so am feeling a little stretched and a bit more uncomfortable than before - also developed the need to go to the loo a lot - I guess this is the increase in pressure from the uterus growing so much? - getting occassionally breathless on exertion, but not too bad, and it passes quickly.

It's the left side, the one I just can't sleep on. So, optimum is left, then right and not on your back. I have my inbuilt pregnancy alarm system already clocking in for the one - my snoring starts if I roll on my back and it wakes me up straight away:laughing: I didn't start snoring until about 7.5 months with DS, at least the heartburn hasn't started yet...
I slept on my right with DS too but yes, left is optimum.
The sleeping isses are a bit annoying to, i don't mind sleeping on my left side or right side, but i usually have to sleep on my back as DS is a co-sleeper and errr likes to have his hand down my shirt to get to sleep! so when he's asleep i roll over to my side, i also sleep quite slightly on my tummy, hope it doesn't squish bubs. Also i remember getting heartburn and having to sleep propped up later on in last pregnancy so hopefully i can avoid that this time, have so far! :fingerscrossed:
No BH for me either, i never got them with DS either.

Hehe at the sleeping 'predicament' V8
Thanks Rynosmum  I tend to alternate between the 2 (I think mostly on my left though) but 90% of mornings wake up on my back...need to start shoving a pillow under my bum so there's at least a little bit on an angle

 at DS. cute!
i sleep on my tummy aswel, and was also wondering if i would squash bub? and maybe thats why i havnt been sleeping well? because she is always active when i try to sleep! i feel like im stretching too but not popping IYKWIM my tummy is still really tiny. i think bubs just sitting a little further back, some days she likes to shout and say hello out front though. ahaha

Cassie0011- I have been having suuuuuch bad heartburn (to the point where I almost choke sometimes eeeeewwwww) and Quikeze really helps. I get the chewable ones and one of those usually helps me so that I can go to sleep.
Hope this is helpful!!!
