Interesting, and thought you guys may have an opinion, this is a possible theory that has been posed to me:
Instead of m/c in December, I actually lost a twin, and am still pg with the remaining twin? That would mean I'm around 11wks, and may explain the massive stomach.
My issues with this are:

My HCG levels dropped from 367 to 90 prior to passing "conception tissue".
I had a negative HPT approx 2.5weeks ago
I had no pg symptoms during the interim. HOWEVER, rang Nurse OnCall today, and she said it's feasible, although is confused re: the drop in HCG levels - said they would drop, but wasn't sure if they would drop that low. the only thing I can do is get an u/s, but that can't be done, as I can't get into GP until Tuesday 5.15pm (already booked), and the local u/s service won't even take a referral until you pass 9wks gestation.
What do you think????? Would really welcome your feedback and opinions.
Thanks
Cass

mmmm... that's a hard one. i guess it could be right?
but would the hcg have dropped so low?
you'd think it would've shown up on the HPT?
i guess you won't know until the u/s...:detective:
please let us know how you go

add: did the doc measure your belly at your first appt?

Jel, my doctor did NOTHING in my first appt. She said "thats nice" when I showed her my HPT! No bloods, no nothing! She said "book in to see someone else next week". She did this coz the appt was at 4.45pm and it was her last day before a 4-week holiday! I've never had a problem with her before, but I was Not Happy Jan!
I have the same questions as you. I'm VERY skeptical of this theory / chance, but thought I'd put it out there for you all to have a look/think about it.

I think you should get the scan done as soon as you can if you want to know. But looking at the information i would say that no this baby is still due in sep, the massive stomuch dosent mean much, would you like me to post a pic of my belly, it can get pretty big..... Although it is possible that this is one of a twin, i would hate for you to get your hopes up, but as i said if you really want to know have the scan when you can, also if your doc appointment is next week then by then they would have a good chance of feeling the uterus (if you are 11 weeks now) good luck, and of course let us know:)

I feel that this is possible as it happened to both my sister and my Aunty, both were preg with twins and both M/C one but went on to have a happy healthy girl, both of them!

This happened to a friend of mine .. as I posted in another thread to you!

My only advice would be to do as she did .. fake some cramps and go to the emergency room (during the day) and you'll get a ultrasound done!
