View Full Version : Looking for a good book on sleeping - recommendations please??
I got a book voucher for my birthday, and have decided that I would like to use it to buy a book on sleeping. I have had a look in the bookstore but there are so many to choose from - and it is so hard to tell if they are going to be any good before you actually buy them and read them.
So I just want to find out what sleep books other mums have found helpful - I am not really into controlled crying, more looking for a book on gentle sleep solutions that I can use to help DD to become a better sleeper.
Any recommendations would be most welcome. TIA!

The No-Cry Sleep Solution
or
anything by Pinky McKay
or
anything by Dr Sears
Thanks for the recommendations tq! :)
The No-cry sleep solution, is that the one by Elizabeth Pantley? Cause that is the one I went to buy, but they didn't have it.
Will see if they can order it in for me...

Yup. I haven't used it (have had friends offer it if need be, but *touchwood* have not needed any help with the kids' sleeping as yet)

Yep - No cry sleep solution, or Pinky McKay's books..can't go wrong with either
Thanks for the recommendations ladies  I will try and track either of those two books down.
Can't wait to read them and see what sleep solutions are going to work for us! ;)
