Its fine, just relax when using it. The pessary or cream? I am allergic to the pessary (some product in it) but the cream is much more soothing. Also had problems with it when pregnant and my Dr gave me some cream that had me red and inflamed...arggghhh so if it doesn't settle in a couple of days..go back. Don't put it in too far.

IF you can (sounds grosse but its not, wack some original greek style yoghurt around the area - and wear a pad) its much more effective - dont worry, its very thick) Maybe keep off sugar for a bit and have some yakult too

i didnt know u could use a pessary when you're pregnant.. i always find they are more effective especially if the infection is inside, not outside. the cream is more for an external case of thrush.
lol if you've had sex chicky then u can handle this... u dont even notice it's there!

er no, it comes with an applicator and thrush is internal, usually right through the digestive tract too. You sure do need to exercise caution inserting them when pregnant though

i was always told not to insert it either, did you double check with your pharmacist? Try up your yoghurt intake and maybe give those inner health a go seemed to work for me, also a bath with vinegar can help too :)

i hope it clears up soon

I am right there with you, I get it bad in pregnancy. I actually was just looking up homeopathic treatments.
Pulsatilla and Kreosotum are two you can use for thrush in Pregnancy.

I have used the applicator one before it was great but also apply the cream for a further 5 days.
