Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and that Santa was extra kind to you!

Congrats to everyone on the scan results - unfortunately the earliest I could get in for mine is on 15 Jan when I will be 13 weeks 2 days (grrr ... Christmas shutdown). It was hard not telling family at Christmas, especially seeing as though I felt like my belly was really popping out but I'm still so scared to tell anyone in case something untoward happens. MS has eased off a bit, so there is that awful lull between having early pregnancy symptoms and feeling movement where you just have to trust that all is OK. I can't remember being this stressed with DS!

Vasiliasmum - you certainly deserve a smooth run with this preg with all you have been through!

1sttimemum2be - hope there is an end to your MS really really soon!

I had low BP through my preg with DS and it is perfectly normal - due to the increase in blood volume to support the growing fetus (from memory!)

Hope everyone has a great new years!

Hope everyone celebrates the new year how they want. I'm staying home! YAY!!

Anyone else got sore muscles and loose ligaments?? OUCH! My foot was going numb yesterday and my leg was aching something fierce then my knee joint rolled (and that was pain all on its own!) and the rest of the pain lessened lol

Scan on Wednesday so I'm really nervous but feeling somewhat positive. (Need to shave my legs too!!!) hehe

Weight? LOL I am fat and not even going to look at that.

Working later this arvo through to tonight :(

I am 10 weeks and yet to feel anything should I be worried? This is my 4th and I felt that popping sensation by now with dd3...

Bummer you have to work tonight!! We are perhaps going to see the early round of fireworks, but I'm unsure if they'll still be on due to very high temps today (40+)

I don't think you should be worried too much about the movements. Each time it's different, I know everybody says that, but it's true! Last time, I didn't feel real movements until after 17 weeks, which was a lot later than with DS3, and this time, I think I was feeling baby last week (13 weeks) , but haven't too much the past couple of days, so maybe I wasn't. As they say you can't generally feel them until a little later, I'm sure things are fine. Are you having a scan soon?

Today we went to one of Port's beaches, Flynns with my mum and 3 of my sisters and my 3 brothers and my sil. It was such a ball. The waves were huge and scary, i was scared that my d!cky knee was going to give way and i would be dragged under in pain.:( I now have red arms and legs and a red face, it was bl00dy hot out there. DS had a great time building sand castles with my littlest brother.
Tonight we are going to be lucky if we see out midnight, i think DS has ideas though, he slept late this arvo and is still running around,

I hope everyone has a happy and safe new year, and we all try to make a resolution that is achievable.
