Hi,
I am doing some research into a product to assist pregnant women, however I require information in regards to the variations in size of a woman's pregnant stomach
It would be very much appreciated if any pregnant women could provide me with measurement as listed below.
*Base of stomach to the top of stomach (over the centre, passing through belly button)
*Centimetres between the sides of the belly (again passing over the belly button)
*How far along the pregnancy is.
It would be great if someone is in the early stages of their pregnancy and would be kind enough to assist me with my research by giving me monthly measurements.
You can reply via this thread or via email
Thankyou

Hi Shezi
I live in Perth...so same state...I had no orange folder/book until I was referred to KEMH for my antenatal care at 21/22 weeks...before that all i had was a blood pressure check and was sent to a radiology place for a date scan, and then a diagnostic 19 week scan. THe orange folder is the cover they give you within which is your hospital notes from every antenatal appoint and anything else you see a doc/midwife for...also has a couple of consent forms and brthplan structure in...I was advised to carry it with me all the time from about 24 weeks just incase I was miles away and something happened so any other hosp/doc would know my history...my team midwife checks at each appoint my bp, the babies heartbeat, my weight, urine results, and measures my fundal height. She has now started also checking bump round the right way and whether free of pelvis or starting to be engaged...all this is recorded in theirs and my notes...
Hope this helps :D Maybe cos you private it different?
