 I feel a bit silly asking this but do you introduce the next stage of teet right on three months or are there signs of when they need it earlier or later?? I do not know and have not been able to find any info on it. Please help!!

I always looked for a faster teat when it appeared that bubs was struggling to get the fluid out.
Have a close look at your current ones though - the only difference with the new ones is that they have more holes in them. Steralise a needle and poke a couple more holes in the ones you have. I'm still using our original Avent ones (with extra holes) that we got when he was a baby - they're still clear and strong.:D
I usually move to the next one when bub seems to be sucking harder than normal and/or takes longer than usual to finish a bottle...does that make any sense?
My bub uses avent teats and is still using the 2 hole one, even tho, going by the age thing she should be on the 3 hole ones. When DS was a bub he used the orhtodontic teats and needed them changed earlier than the packet recomended coz he was on anti reflux formula.

tyler has been on med flow since birth,,, the slow flow was to slow and fast was and still is to fast for her,,, the best thing you can do is if you think bub is not getting the milk fast enuff try the next size up,,,, if then they are to fast go back to the ones you are using..... good luck:fingerscrossed:

Thankyou so much.. was amazed but really happy to get a response so quick. I will be putting him up I think cause when he sucks you can actually hear the air going in the little hole on the side he sucks that strong now.. if only he had at birth. and he ends up getting alot of air from it I think. I think I will deffinantly try the Needle thing cause his teets are $6 a pop.
Thanks again
