Function Room

Hi Ladies,

Can anyone recommend a function room on the Gold Coast (anywhere from the North End to around Surfers) for a 30th birthday.

Thought I would see if anyone on here has booked a room either at a surf club, nightclub or something similar. I haven't been out much on the coast so don't really know where to start and thought maybe someone has organised a large party before on the coast.

my old flatmate had his 30th in shooters a nightclub in surfers, it was really bad, all they did was rope off a certain part of the club and after awhile all the patrons of the club came into that section anyways.
the one function room i looked into for my 25th which never happened was the runaway bay cricket club. its a bit isolated so you dont have to worry about noise and there is a big oval for kids to run on. back 5 yrs ago it was about $200 for the night included bar staff (you had to buy their drinks) , you could take your own food and they cleaned up afterwards.

Gold Coast Country Club, its a golf course, its awesome. There is a bar and you only have to pay for the food!!! I went there for a 30th best party ever!
