Mum's so impressed!

Hi there,

I just thought I'd share with you this little snippet as I was quite impressed (and a bit proud!) with this attitude!

I was telling my mum about my cloth pads, and originally she was "oh no, why would you go back to that?"

But then I showed them to her, explained the makeup of them, and she could not believe how little and nice looking they are, and how well they work!

Then I showed her my Mooncup, and said that I hadn't used it yet but I was keen to. I explained how much it all cost, and how it will have paid for itself within a few months.

Mum was so impressed that she couldnt' wait to get on the phone and tell my Nan! She comes from the generation who had the lovely clip on pads on belts (!) and she's very environmentally conscious too.

Just thought I'd share that with all the cloth Mamas out there - the older generation is impressed with what we're doing!

When I told my Mum about modern cloth pads she was impressed too. She thinks cloth is much better.

Wish my mum was around to tell too! She'd probably think it was great!

Its so lovely that your mum was positive about it - let's hope she shares with some of her friends and they tell their daughters about cloth and cups too!!

Actually I've overall been impressed with the reaction of people I've told - three women at work were all very impressed, and asked me to let them know how it goes. I guess it helps that I work in natural resource management! Setting a good example ;)

I can't wait to buy some more pretty pads!
