:laughing:Stupid question I know but it good to see what other mum do.
I usually give my DS who is 2 a bath or shower everyday, but my DD who is 3 months a bath everyday if not every 2nd day.
Do you give a bath to your baby everyday? Also do you take you bub in the shower with you? There are some days where I can't be bothered giving them a bath, a shower seems so quick and easy!

I only discovered the fun of bubs in the shower the other week she absolutely loved it, its a shame that the middle 2 decided to join me though LOL but oh well these things happen.
I usually only bath or shower her every second or third day, she gets a top to tail every day though. Tends to be second daily now though as shes getting bigger. I do find though you can wash them better in a bath (those rolls under the chin are the worst) so i try alternate between showering and baths.
Showers are sooo much easier!! I sat her rocker in there with a towel layed in it so i could sit her in it when we were done and then i had the chance to wrap a towel around me plus we have the heat lamps too so she doesnt get cold during this time, ohh shes 11 weeks :)
We bath DD every evening as part of her nightly wind-down time. She has a bath, then her dad reads her a couple of stories then a bottle then bed.
We've been doing this since about 3 weeks old.
She occasionally gets a shower with her dad if we are going somewhere special and i want a freshly washed bubba or if we aren't at home like when we are visiting my parents house she gets a shower with her dad there.

DS has a bath twice a day at the moment, or a bath and a shower.
He's getting over an eczema flareup though, usually it's just once a day in the bath. :)
all 3 of my kids get a bath everyday. Sometimes DS#2 gets 2 a day :)
It depended on what time of the year they were born.
My winter babes every 2 days. But my summer ones every day.
They don't get very dirty as tiny bubs - after about 3 or 4 mths everyday baths though. When newborn and such, a top and tail - every day morning and night, to refresh them.

my kids don't get bathed every day, we're very low on water here and we live out of town - if we're going into town obviously we bathe but if we're staying on the farm, why waste the water :D
I bathed my daughter every night when she was small, with all those awful "baby bath products". The Boy gets washed in water only, and has much better skin than The Girl ever had :detective:
My DS and I share a bath every night, and most nights our 10 month old babe joins us... but when she was a leetle baby she was bathed very infrequently! She was so clean naturally, and her skin oils got to build up well etc etc.:D
We bath DS every night as part of a bath, bottle, bed routine. It's lovely to sit in the bath with him whilst he plays with his rubber duckies and has a story. We only use QV wash and that's usually every other bath. For his first 3 months we only bathed him every other day.

 every night at 7 as part of the bedtime routine :)
Sorry to but in on your thread but Im curious as to how those who shower with their babies manage to do it alone... as in getting out with both of you wet so the baby does not get cold and is dressed quickly..?

I have room to sit bubs rocker and sit it on a towel so it doesnt slip, mind you i hold it with one hand usually i get naked wrap a towel round me then get bubs undressed, wrap them in a towel then lay bubs in the rocker. When we get out bubs goes in the rocker ( i still hold it even though it wouldnt fall lol) then i throw my towel or something on why bubs is wrapped up in the towel. I dress bubs then get dressed after her. We have heat lamps though so she stays quiet warm, sometimes though i just throw a dressing gown on and let her have a feed naked as well which is a nice bonding moment too :) and just cover her in the gown as well.
Usually though i will give her a quick feed before the shower so she isnt screaming for it when we getout
Thanks for that PB, might try it! I have a good sturdy rocker that i can use (she is normally sitting in it watching me have a shower most days unless she is asleep!).
Will have to have a colder shower for her though, i like them hot.. normally have it set to 42oC in winter, 40 or 41 in summer.

I bath my children twice a day, every day. Sometimes we'll have shower, too.
Unlike you PB, I found shower are so much harder, especially if I have to do it on my own (with both children anyway). So we'll have shower when dh is home and he's able to cloth one child while I keep going with the other child :)

Tyler has a shower every morning she need to for her fro:laughing: if its hot she will have one of a nite as well.
Yeah I found showers much harder - DS is such a slippery thing and it doesn't help that he's such a little porker too.

DS tends to get pretty messy so he and I share a shower both morning and evening every day. When he was a baby I'd bath him every day or sometimes every second day.

Hey mum in love just let them jump on with you lol we have the shower over bath though and the 3 and 5 yo think its lots of fun, not much for me but keeps them busy at least
I bathe with DS every night. I doubt he would go to bed without having a bath first

DD1 (8 months old) is bathed daily as part of her settling routine. She has mild eczema and the QV oils seem to be doing their job. Shes also started crawling recently so shes getting into all sort of dusty areas and is pretty messy at tea time.
I have had to bath my kids everyday since they where a couple of weeks old. Especially my DD as she has tonnes of hair and sweats so bad, and if she has been out in the heat by the end of the day she smells like footy boots!
