Bi-Cornuate uterus

Hi Guys,

had a scan last night which detected a hearbeat thenk god, I'm 6 weeks and 2 days today, but I have to go and have a another scan in 2 weeks because they think I may have a bi-cornuate uterus, is there anyone else out there who has one and has had a baby and can tell me a bit about it??

Hi Pippa,
I am sorry that I cannot help with actually experiencing a bi-cornuate uterus, however I did find some info at the following site that might explain it in lamens terms for you. A good friend of mine is a doctor and has had a couple of women with these shaped uteruses (not sure if that's how you spell the plural of uterus) and both have had healthy babies.
