What happens to the FAT rolls??????????

Just wondering what happens to your tummy fat rolls when you are pregnant? At what stage do they just blend in with the baby tummy? Or, do they always look separate?

Its just that you see women with such perfectly round bellies, and when I look at mine - bearly pregnant, I think "when does the shape change?" "When will this fat roll shift?

Any ideas???????????????

i think around 20 weeks it starts to look better?
i've got lots of loose skin at the bottom of my stomach blended well with massive stretch marks, these probably wont tighten up till i hit 30 weeks.

Yep, take it from me, it all blends in! No more having to suck that bit of a gut in!

Hate to think what it might end up looking like after the baby's born!

The firmest my tummy has ever been has been during pregnancy. It's a great feeling-even though you have this rock hard, non bendable front you feel all fit and slim because there is no sags whatsoever. Any sags on the rest of my body couldn't be seen by me anyway because i couldn't turn around! It really starts to feel this way by 6 mths.

I don't remember exactly, but I do remember, for the first time ever, not having to worry about my shirt riding up and exposing my tum, 'cause tum tum was looking fabulous!!!

It was all lovely a stretched and round, it just looked great. I went to the beach with all my lovely friends and I was so relaxed and comfortable - lean over and hey presto - no rolls!!!

And now, 8 months after the dude popped out, my tummy is much smaller than what it was to begin with. I still have rolls, but only little tiny ones. Go figure :laughing: .

Wow, this IS good news. I was sort of wondering the same thing myself and thinking that maybe I will just look really fat and people will be scared to ask me if I am pregnant in case I'm just fat.

I have lost weight off my bum too, which is divine.

I have an apron as they call it, from my FB pregnancy. My belly looks really round (btw I also look like I am 8 months atm cause i am a carrier of twins lol) and like I have a soccer (I mean a v lge beach) ball under my clothes! It really depends on how overweight one is as well.

However when my clothes come off, I can see my apron (flabby bit of skin from the first pregnancy). Looks can be deceiving!
