View Full Version : All the time nausea/gagging/wretching
I have been having as the title says for a week now. I haven't been sleeping properly I gag in my sleep tis 3am here in the UK I just feel so, so sick.
I can't eat I can't bear food only dry crackers. I keep crying as I am feeling so ill. I am tired because I can't eat. I gag when I have food in front of me.
Is this M/S or am I actually ill?
I never had this with Eliza.
I have been trying ginger and green tea and all sorts but it just makes me feel worse.
Ughh :(:crying:
Hmm you are quite a bit further along than me. I have been this way for a while but Im only almost 11 weeks. Maybe a GP would be a good idea, just in case you are actually ill. Can you keep liquids down? I know when you are pregnant and cant keep liquid down you usually need to be put on a drip..
yeah I am 21 weeks I think lol yeah I can keep liquid down. Although I just had some water and I am really not feeling to crash hot now!
I have to drink cordial now water makes me sick. Its easing off a bit but I cant even walk around coles without gagging and trying not to vomit.

Welcome to my wonderful pregnancies !
Hey the best thing though is that you lose weight so it can be really awesome ;)
I can only offer my sympathy from this far away im afraid & a few pieces of advice.
If this keeps up please see a doctor because it isnt healthy for you or bubs & sadly you may need a drip in hospy. Horrible i know but it can be the only way at times. I fought it each time but knew that i had to do it for bubs.
Try to drink as much as you can doesnt matter what it is just find soemthing you can keep down. For me i could drink dry ginger ale for like a week before it would start coming back to haunt me. Otherwise get yourself some stuff from the chemist that makes sure you keep hydrated enough. Oh & ice blocks ! I lived on lemonade ice blocks for like 7mths each time.
Have you tried sea sickness bands ? They are often really helpful for a lot of women. Did squat for me though
Least you arent having to carry a bucket with you wherever you go yet :o
ahhh icey poles great idea as soon as I read that I craved it lol got some in the freezer will have one now! Yeah I haven't actually been sick just going through the motions :hair: and ya lost 3 kilos in a week...Nice
Me hospital ha please god no lol
Thank you M/S queen :hugs:

Hi Pixie,
Sorry to hear you are not feeling too well. Hopefully it is morning sickness but go to the GP just to confirm because if something else is up you want to keep on top of it.
I am now 23 week and the morning sickness keeps on getting worse, so i am not sure but anything is possible and perhaps you are just getting a late dose of it. Good luck though.
allyoo i had to laugh with your bucket comment. That is sooo me. I left my bucket in the car on Xmas day and felt sick so my dear MIL went to get me a bucket but it was dirty so i vomitted even more. I am so crazy bucket lady at the moment. Every night/morning when i am in bed being sick DH is so sweet when he goes and cleans it for me and yells out ' dont worry sweetie i am using the pinoclean' . One day he didnt and i got cross.
Oh the joys of being pregnant.
