I succumbed and couldn't wait any longer to POAS so I tested this morning and got a :bfp: and it's a nice strong line and came up very quickly.

I'm still in shock but extremely excited and hoping it's a sticky.

Sorry to those who have got AF - next month for sure is yours.

Like a good old Yorkshire girl I'm off to make myself a strong cup of tea to help with the shock.

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for all your well wishes - I am so excited only snag is if everything proceeds as it should then I'll be 12 weeks whilst in the UK which means I'll have to have the NT scan there and don't know how to go about that one, but as I am still registered with my family Dr there I'll see him and I'm sure they'll give me all the relevant info.

But it will be great to tell everyone face to face in the UK too.

Sam - sorry to hear AF arrived and that you will now have to wait but I'm sure time will pass very quickly and before you know it you'll be busy baby making again.

I'm off to join the Sept/Oct thread now but will keep popping back in to follow your journeys.

well i did a hpt and got a :bfn:, i am only on cd 27 and usually have a 31 or so day cycle but not holding any hope. off to the dr tomorrow to c what this spotting is all about....its driving me nuts!

Things aren't looking good for me. But my ( . )( . ) s are really achey and tender more than they have been this cycle. More blood today and red and bright Doc thinks it could be a m/c but we did a Blood Test so I should know about 3 or 4pm today. Doc said it can go either way at this point. my last blood test that was inconclusive had a level of 19:(

I'm out this month so you can scrub me off the list as the Doc said I'm miscarrying. I have a lot of heavy blood and clot the size of a pea and other bits. First BT level was 19 (came back inconclusive) now it 4 and dropping and will have another in a few days to see if it resets to 0. Getting cramps and the lower back is achy.
This is the first time that I am aware of the situation and now understand how it feels like.

Sharai, it might take awhile to digest. When I had my m/c which was very early on like you but I hadn't had it confirmed by a BT or anything yet, it felt like it didn't really happen. It was just too surreal, I never thought anything like that would happen to us.

Hi All

Went to FS today ........ and


I start IVF as soon as af arrives !!!!!! :smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedanc e::smiliedance::smiliedance:

I have never wanted af to arrive quickly as much as I want it now!!!!

FS was really good, happy with everything that we (well I today) had decided and was happy to start straight away.

I pretty much knew all of the options etc as we had discussed it all before, but I was worried that becuase DH is away they wouldnt let me start till we had done the counselling and get a heap more BT;s from DH.....but they said as long as he is back and does it before the egg pick up we are good.

Today is cd14, so hopefully will be 27 day cycle and i will start injections then and egg pickup about 14 days after that (mid - late Feb)

YAY - I am so excited!!! I am getting a baby for Christmas!!!!!

Thanks Mariposa yep af sure has arrived so this month is not for me :( oh well second round of clomid here i come,this will be the 8th month of ttc oh god this reminds me so much of when ttc dd (#1 she took 8 months).

Why is it so hard this time,it only took 2 months with ds :confused:

I guess i am super fertile just after having a baby seeing as i had a m/c when ds was 5 months old,and i fell preggas with ds when dd was 5 months old.

Im 26 days late for my period!! Yes 26 days!! Thats 3 and a half weeks.

I tested last Thursday- Negative, ON Monday- Negative and Today- Negative.......

Aaaargh it drives me crazy not knowing what is going on. Im going to wait till next week then get some bloods done I think.

I would have had my bloods done earlier but I hate being disappointed so I just try to ignore the fact lol.

My cycle can sometimes be out by a week. So between 28 and 35 days. But even so I still would be 2 and a half weeks late for my period.

Im not sure when I o'd. I try not to get all caught up in that stuff anymore as it was doing my head in, trying to bed on the right day and make sure I was in the right position and all that stuff. But we bed every second day, Ovulating or not.

I have my fingers crossed too as weve been trying for 8 months now.

I went to the dr on wed and she did a urine pg test at the surgery and :bfn:. what a mission it was to get a sample, i'd only just gone to the toilet, then low and behold i had to give another at qml. she also did a pap smear, swab and bloods to test levels (not sure what levels) she didnt really let on what it could be wrong with me. my spotting ended up stopping on wed so spotted about 4 maybe 5 days all up, due for af tomorrow. so lets c if she comes, the whole thing is very frustrating i just want to get on with getting pregnant like us all :)

I got a msg from my drs receptionist this arvo but it was too late to call, but i'm thinking...well hoping she is ringing to tell me i'm pregnant as this afternoon dh was saying he felt like a drink and i thought..mmm that would be nice, so i like to be sure and went and did a hpt on the sly and low and behold what came up straight away...:bfp:. i couldnt believe it!!! so it must have been implantation spotting. something i didnt have with ds. line still a bit faint but only a touch lighter than the control line. so better than my last one when i miscarried, so we're keeping :fingerscrossed: that this one is a sticky one!!!

I had the ache with Oliver and this pregnancy as well. Its quite normal. If you are worried, get straight to your Dr! :) :hugs:

I hope I'm not jinxing myself by being added to this list. AF was due yesterday, only a day late but wishful thinking. I feel a bit different but it might be my mind playing tricks on me, :fingerscrossed: it isnt. I'll wait a few more days before testing. Waiting is the worst :hissy:

Nomsie, i just wanted to say thanks soooooo much for the congrats you wrote me on the calendar, i feel so special. :hugs:
And for anyone wondering, i had an ultrasound yesterday to check for a heat beat (because of previous mc) and to get my dates, and it all went well, i am 6 weeks 3 days and the heart rate was 130bpm (which the lady said was good) i am relieved for the moment, as i have been having LOTS of pains, so getting worried from time to time, but at the moment it's all good. :smiliedance:

I hope i inspire you all to stay positive and keep trying! Good luck and i will keep you all posted on my progress.

I have been getting a lot of morning sickness, all day long, which i hope settles down quickly, but i shouldn't complain.

How are you going, when do you start ivf?

I have to have another BT on Tuesday....and if all is ok then I will start when af arrives (due later next week) .....if levels are still a bit haywire then will need to wait out this cycle and sort out some blood issues.

Am going in to the clinic tomorrow to pick up the drugs and learn to do the injections ..... so a bit nervous ......just hoping bloods are fine and we can go ahead :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::f ingerscrossed:
