I don't know if it's just me, but I had to take another HPT to ensure I am actually :bfp:. I had to go to the dr today for DD2, and took yesterdays HPT in, and she said: "that's great. Book in to see another dr next week". No confirmation, no nothing. So I've booked in to see another dr Tuesday week (my dr going away for a month).
Anyway, had to have another test when I got home, and thank god it was a BFP! The positive line came up at the same rate as the control line, which I took as a good sign!
The only symptom that I have is that my poor b@@bies feel like they are going to catch fire and explode. Still, I think because I had the m/c, it doesn't seem real this time. I just am soooo worried that I'm imaginining it all, despite the two positive HPT.
Am I the only one?
Sorry, but you guys will soon learn that I am a waffler!
Cheers
Cass

Hi Cass, It is a similar story with me, I have had 4 m/c, and when I went to the DR he said congratulations, took my blood pressure and said come back in a week or so.
I thought he might do a blood test or something.
Anyway, I guess it's just a waiting game and while things are going ok, I'm just going to believe things are ok. I am tempted to do another test, but don't want to waste another $10.
Hoping for sticky babies for both of us.

I guys. My bub is due 31st August but I know it will be a September bub:yes:

I am another one who is pregnant after a miscarriage so I understand your stress. As I didnt know I had a m/c until four weeks after I find it hard to relax. I requested that the g.p. check my hcg levels and asked for an early scan which I am having next week.

Fortunately I am now getting all day nausea so I am feeling a little more relaxed that there is something still going on in there.

:babydust2::babydust2: for us all

I'm the same - hard time believing I'm pregnant. No symptoms at all. But I've had all the bloods and the receptionist told me that no follow up was required so I assume all is well!!!

But until then I was the same, taking tests all the time, especially cause the line was soooo faint, I used to think I was imagining it. Then I found a test (that cost a fortune) that was digital and said 'PREGNANT' so I figured that was good enough :)

My first scan isn't until 22 February, I can't wait!

I had a miscarriage just before Christmas - so while I'm thrilled to be pregnant again I'm super anxious.

I'd like to think I'd be able to relax once I have gone beyond the point of my m/c but I don't think I will for the whole pregnancy.

I am actually embracing my morning sickness and as long as I feel it, I think everything is going OK.

I'm due in august but i'm sticky beaking at everything ..
I noticed some of you have only recently miscarried in the last month or so!
From my experience with my best friend last year i'd get an ultrasound.
She had a m/c last July and then found out 4 weeks later she was pregnant .. when she had a ultrasound to work out her due date it was the same baby.
She had been pregnant with twins and had lost a twin but cause it was so early they could not see everything in her first ultrasound .. she had bad bleeding and cramping .. her cramping continued right thru her pregnancy but her baby boy was born healthy and he's now 9 months old!

Hi Ladies

Well im due in about 8 weeks time and had a mc in Sept 06, fell pg last year june and im having avery boring healthy pg (drs words). all is going well and i would just like to say to you ladies that your anxciety will unfortunately be there till you start feeling your little one every day. be patient and believe all will be good and fine. think positive and enjoy your pg as much as you can (eventhough being anxcious about it).

i was anxcious cause i didnt have any nausea, just sore boobs. so dont get too stressed if you dont have any nausea, its not a sign that there might be anything wrong. you dont have to be sick to be healthily pg. ask me i know.

sorry for gatecrashing i just wanted to make you feel a bit more relaxed. enjoy your pg and pg bellies as time flies like the speed of light.

extremely sticky baby :babydust2::babydust2: to all.

Hi Tillismama - thanks for that, but I know that it's not the same bub or pg. I know this coz I took a HPT about a week and a half ago, and it was negative. I did this, coz I knew that some hormones can stay in the system for up to 6 weeks after a m/c, and you can get false positive tests. I did this to make sure I had gotten rid of all my hormones for my next HPT if I thought I was pg. Turns out I lost the bub around Dec 8th (thats when I lost most of the blood - sorry TMI), I tested around the 2nd - got negative test coz I would have only been about 1 week after conception, then again on the 9th, and I got a positive.
Whhheeewww, that was a spiel! Sorry if I just confused you all!:ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity:

This is a great thread, i have kinda just sat back and read it. i have never had a m/c but i do understand the feelings of not knowing, being only early days i dont feel all the things i thought i did with the others, i keep telling myself that soon enough all that stuff will hit and then i wont be worried, i will be sick and tired!!

I know these feelings all too well. Had 2 before ds & 3 since TTC this time round.

I dunno why but this pregnancy already feels so real & different don't know why but I've got a good feeling bout this one.

I am the same as mummadj i have had 6m/c all up and am very anxious etc.

But i also have a strange feeling that everything is going to be fine this time round.

on the hpt front i am embarrassed to say i have done 10 but each one got darker, and i have really bad m/s that as kicked in already.
