View Full Version : Blood Blister.
Silly Cobes just closed his finger in a sliding window. Not terribly bad (rubbing water over the finger distracted and stopped the crying) but there's a little blood blister beside his nail. What is the best treatment for this?
Cheers.

Leave it alone.
Repeat after me.
Do not touch the blood blister! :p
I'd even go so far as to put a bandaid over it to stop Cobes from poking at it. Its likely to be quite painful, though, so he's maybe not all that likely to. But the overlay of skin keeps all the blood and fluid inside nice and sterile - the minute it bursts, it becomes an open wound and more likely to get an infection, so just leave it well alone to heal up on its own.
Poor little bloke!
ew. I should've listened a bit harder to my first aid course, eh? :p
It's only very teeny weeny, I'm glad it's BESIDE his nail, and a suitable distance away instead of under it...
That'll learn him fer playin' wit' da winders.
As Tam-I-Am said just leave it alone to heal on it's own....The best medicine for it.
