If anyone knows of any part time positions on Brisbane's northside, please let me know.
For the last couple of months I have been trying to find a suitable job so I can return to the workforce. My girls are 2yrs and 8.5months old so I am looking for something not too stressful and for 3 set days a week.
I have experience in Retail, customer service and have just completed an MYOB certificate. My last position was as a Team Leader in a Call Centre for Telstra (which I will have to return to if I can't find a new position soon). I would love an administration assistant position, and am a hard working, loyal employee.
I have applied for countless jobs but have found recruitment agencies not to be very responsive.
I don't want to blow my own trumpet, but I would be a valuable employee to any business. I am a fast learner, have an excellent phone manner, and am polite, courteous and customer focussed.
Sorry to :ecomcity: :ecomcity: :ecomcity:, but I can't believe there aren't many positions around to fit in with a Mum that wants to work 3 set days per week.
A lot of employers want you to be available for your normal hours and then fill in for sick leave etc, which isn't possible for someone with 2 small children. Or, they want you to be available across 7 days on a rotating roster, which doesn't work when you have to arrange child care.
I am really starting to feel under valued as a prospective employee, when I know I have a lot to offer.
Would appreciate any leads.........
