Has anyone found out the sex of their baby yet?

I have!

As I had to have a CVS test (totally yuck) the OB asked me yesterday if I knew the sex from the test, which I didnt.

I wasnt aware I could have found out the sex about 2 weeks ago.
The sex is correct from the test as the CVS tests the chromosomes, unlike an ultrasound where the sonogragher can get it wrong.


So I rang the OB's office this morning and found out, but at this stage wont be telling anyone, my little secret.

Im just happy that the baby is progressing well.

Mil wants us to find out but that's just so she can "shop" and so she can tell everyone and I mean everyone!!

Part of me wants to know and part of me doesn't. The ultrasound might give everything away though!!

Definately wont be telling MIL, she only wants to know as she wants a boy, "to carry on the family name" she makes me want to :barf:What about a healthy baby?? Silly woman. She is also a terrible gossip, so the whole world would know by tonight.

Havnt found out yet but my 19w scans tommorrow so i think im gonna find out i got a feeling its PINK though! :thumbsup: Although it doesnt really bother me as long as its healthy :yes:

Got my scan on the 29th so will find out then... I'm thinking its a PINK bump though!! I guess right with DS so lets hope I am right this time too! Although I would still be extremely happy with a blue bump!! A happy healthy baby is what I want!!

Well I couldnt get in till 2 Feb and i'll be 20 weeks by then!!!! I have a feeling as I have all along that it is going to be a pink bump :) It wont bother me either way though. I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALREADY!! LOL :laughing:

My ultrasound is booked in for 5 Feb and am counting down the days am so excited to find out :smiliedance:

I had a scan at the ob today, but he couldn't see, little bub was sleeping with legs closed (possibly a little lady :confused: hee hee)

I am happy for either as long as I can't start buying some pink or blue clothes! I am feeling it's going to be blue!

My scan's on the 30th and I really really really want to know... but DH doesn't. He keeps on saying I can find out if I hand over complete naming rights but with names like the ones he's been talking about, I don't think that's going to happen. He has HIDDEOUS taste in names... :(

I don't think we're going to find out - it's the one surprise you get after all the months of waiting!

My DH is tempted (and I must admit so am I) & of course everyone's got their opinion but I think it's half the fun.

We've got Isabella already so a boy would be nice especially for DH but I too don't know what I'd do with the "bits" hahaha. Two girls would be lovely also.

Who knows???? Healthy healthy healthy is priority.

Boys bits are easy peasy!! its the whole girls wipe from front to back that i'd find tricky when there was one of those explosive nappies. How do you clean it all up?

I'd like DP to have a 'little princess' like i have my 'little prince', but we'd be happy with two boys too.
