DP is the big 30 next month and I can’t decide what to get him.

Should I get him memorabilia? The options are cricket or his footy team (something framed and signed), or a framed signed Soprano’s picture?

OR Skydiving?

OR any suggestions?

There are some days I'd love to push my husband out of a plane. :p I reckon you should go with that one! :D

Ohh my DP is turnng the big 30 too.. But in 2 days.. (he got grumpy that i aged him prematurely in my sig, lol  its only a few days early..:raspberry: haha)
Better put my thinking cap on, all i have at the moment is a ocean fishing trip charter.. Like one of the day ones..

Does your DP like fishing??

Hopefully i can get some ideas from this thread also..

DP is a real sports MAD man. He doesn't like fishing, so there goes that idea.

Just last night my DH was talking about how much he would love one of those Sea World experience days like swimming with the dolphins or with the sharks.

There is also a place in Brissy where you can go an do a race car experience - doing a few hot laps in a V8 super car an then racing around a skid pan and wet course in a racing car........DH would love that too.

I'm a cheap-skate so all my DH got for his 30th was a first born child. In my defence......... I did make it myself

I asked him if he wanted to have a race around calder park in a V8 but he didn't seem very interested.

Keep the suggestions coming.

:laughing:Reidymac! That's classic!

I guess it depends on what's around you Mel.

The idea of a V8 race car experience sounds good. Not being a sporting family here but is there a big race coming up you could send him to?

I'm also looking at sending my DH on a tiger moth joy flight for his birthday, was looking at parasailing but they don't do that here anymore. of course the plane idea is a good one too!

ooooh a joy flight, we have a little airport about 30 mins away. Might price that.

Keep them coming.

I was gonna suggest some lovely shaving soap/oil/balm from L'Occitane en Provence, but on seeing the options, maybe he wouldn't like that....they are beautiful things though. MY DH's birthday was last week and he just loved his gifts from there. They come beautifully wrapped too LOL.

I'm all for the tossing out of the plane as well (well, as long as you won't freak out too much!)

DP's 30th is this year as well and I plan to get him a bridge climb experience.
