I cut my leg on the shed door this arvo; it’s a nasty cut. I know that I can’t use Betadine, so what can I use??? I have put a little BM on it but it's still stinging a bit and I dont' want to get an infection.

you can buy specific "Medicated Honey" for this - but if you have any diabetes problems you should be careful.
why not start with plain salty water to start with

I'v done the salty water thing, atm I have sticky leg with normal honey. Is it OK to use just eating honey?

it is
medicated honey is used a lot these days for ulcers and hard to heal wounds and the marketed medihoney meets specific levels of antibacterial properties. capilano now make it especially (well the bees do)
Everyday honey still has natural antibacterial properties, and was used widely before WW2 when antibiotic dressings became mass produced. Preferably go for Tree Honey (ie Manuka).
It is also brilliant for sore throats - but medicated honey tastes foul
