He put my boosters in with fabric softer detergent

HELP!!!

I had my green kids boosters hanging over the trough i got them the other day and i was just throwing them in with each load of nappies to make them absorbent.

I had the washig machine ready to go with the flats and dh had a white t shirt to wash i said ohh just chuck it in with the nappies and any other whites detergents in there so turn it on please ..:(

Will it ruin them? He threw them in too grrr and put in extra detergent it was that omo with extra fabric softer built in powder grrr

might have to do a strip wash it wont ruin them tho

I think the only think you might need to do is a strip wash???

just put all your hemp/ bamboo stuff through for a hot wash with no detergent at all ..

No, dont' stress, it won't ruin them - but you WILL need to do a strip wash on them.

Put them in a sink full of HOT water and some dishwashing detergent. Push the detergent through them, and then wash them as you normally would in your washing machine. They should be fine.

Phew *wipes forehead* thank god for that! I was just getting it all ready as she can nearly fit into them :smiliedance:

One wash won't hurt them. Just wash them as normal the next time. It's continual use with softener that stops them absorbing.

In 4 years since William was born, I've never actually had to do a strip wash.
