Miessence. No aluminium, no parabens, no nasties nothing synthetic. Works great, although is more expensive, but for me I would rather not use chemicals on my body, esp around my breast tissue.

I like to think I'm not a smelly bugger either  but the only supermarket brand that works for me is Mitchum. I have been using it for about 8 years and still think its fab.

I use FA too - sensitive. I have super sensitive skin and have tried so many other deodorants only to have my armpits swell up or start burning... Only recently Woolworths has stopped stocking the sensitive one (at the two local ones here) so i have found it in Kmart and i'm a very happy camper. When they have storewide sales i stock up. So i usually pay about $2.80 for one. Very Happy:yelclap:

I hate roll ons ... they seem to take forever to dry and I am just too impatient.

I used the Dove aerosol spray for ages, until I went off birth control pills and the fragrance started to make me feel a bit queasy. It worked very well though - I was dry (unless it was impossibly humid outside) and the fragrance was effective at masking any body odours.

I have started using the pink Rexona crystal clear aerosol now. I love it - again, keeps me dry and odourless, dries quickly and doesn't leave white marks on black clothing.

I use a deodorant bar that I buy at Lush, certain chemicals irritate my skin and this bar is just lovely. Very expensive though.

mmmmmmm Lush - might have to go look for that one. You know, im allergic to aloe vera and so many beauty products contain it! Even rozor blade strips. Wish i could find more natural, organic stuff!

Obviously im meant to be a smelly bugger :p
Actually i lie if i use my partners nivea im ok !
I used to use a mens deoderant years ago that was good but they stopped making it but it actually had no real smell so never detracted from my perfume which is what i like.
The nivea for women hasnt worked for me lately but used to :(
Same with the rexona which i went back to last week in the vain hope it would work but it hasnt
Will have to try something else next shopping week !

I always put on a roll on that dosant have a scent...like Imperial Leather anti perspirant or FA ...but then I put on perfume like Beyond Paradise, Fantasy or Romance...I find perfume lasts a lot longer then the deodorant that u by in supermarkets and they smell prettier..Obviously they are more expansive...but worth it.

I use Mum roll-on. I pick the flavour while I'm standing in the aisle :)

I hate using spray deoderants, most are body sprays that don't do anything but mask a smell, at least roll ons make me feel like I'm using something for the job! :)

I use Fa Balm Plus (roll on) then I use Rexona Crystal- Aqua Blue. Both work really well and hold up all day; even after a workout on the treadmill and weights.

I just cant seem to find the right deodarant that will prevent the sweating. I can be cold and still sweat.

I've heard Driclor is the strongest you can get, however the Aluminium Chloride level is 20%.

Do you think it could be an issue using this whilst pregnant???

MamaSage
05-04-2006, 16:19
I personally would not use any deodorant that contains aluminium..Yuck. I use Miessence.

I use the orange Fa - tropical garden or something like that??? I often get asked what perfume I am wearing when I have only it on???

I think the bottle I just bought is dodgy though - is leaving white marks which has never happened before and doesn't feel as cool when I spray it on as it usually does. I hope they havn't changed the way the make it or something cause I really like the smell of that one.

I usually use Australis cause they dont test on animals (or so the packaging says!) but if I'm gonna be sweating then I will switch to Rexona.

I had one of those Crystals once - they were brilliant!!!! I just cant remember where I bought it from...
