Anybody else waiting to hear if they have been offered into a course, either Uni or TAFE?

I'm waiting to hear if i have been offered a spot in the Enrolled Nursing course in Semester 1, 2008 at TAFE.

What's everyone else hoping to get into???

How did you go getting into nursing?
i applied for both Bachelor of Nursing and Certificate IV Nursing and I got accepted in the Cert IV course.
I was rapt that I got in and I cant wait to start studying and get out of the house!
My son starts prep this year and my 3yo daughter will be off to childcare!

I need all the help I can get!Im really looking forward to it, although I havnt been at school for 7 years, I'm extreamly dedicated to studying nursing, and its great to know there are others mums going through the same thing!!!

Hello Everyone,

I have just been accepted into Charles Darwin Uni studying Nursing but I'm doing it Externally. I have a 4yr old DS who will be going to Kindy and I also have a 9 week old DD.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with DD yet and I'm not sure if I have to do any pracs in the first year yet!!!

It's going to be a big challenge but I'm up for it.

I just got into Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) external study at JCU!

I know im going to have my hands full but like you perrywinkle, I'm up for the challenge.

I was really excited to get into it, i just look forward to putting my brain back into action!

My DD will go to Childcare three days of the week, the other days her Nanna, my mum, will look after her.

If there is anyone else doing a teaching degree i would love to hear from you!

Hey, after a long wait and the website still not having the offers for the nursing course up yet, i rang tafe to find out what the status was.

They got back to me this afternoon. Apparently the campus is giving me a manual offer, so in the next few days i should have my enrolment forms etc to fill out. Then i'll have to organise getting my daughter into the childcare centre at the tafe there.

I'll be doing the course part time over the next three yrs, all on campus. YAY for me! and YAY for the rest of you!
