I'm wondering which baby wipe people are using.

I've wasted so much money on wipes that are hardly moist & stick together. There is nothing worse that trying to hold DS legs up (so they dont get covered in poo) & trying to get a single wipe, when about 10 come out because they dont seperate! I've found alot of the well known brands are the worst offenders.

Hi

Ive never bought wipes. At home we just use a washer and water and when we go out, I have some cut up chux in a container with some water and essential oil. Some people also use weak Chammomile tea:) Alot cheaper, better for the environment and no chemicals:thumbsup:

I use swispers....they are great! You can find them in an IGA, Coles and sometimes Franklins.

I find that they are nice and moist and aren't hard to pull out. I do however, pull out a number of wipes before i change the nappy, so that the wipes are ready to go. You know when it's a number 1 or 2 nappy.

I use the Woolies/Safeway brand too...they're not too bad.
In saying that though, Lucas (20mths) would like to add that he prefers the taste & texture of the Huggies brand to the Woolies wipes!!!

I'm using facewashers which I wash with the nappies, and chamomile tea.

No rubbish, no extra effort, and very small expense.

We have found Woolworths brand to be excellent, and quite good value when you buy the bulk box for $20.

I like the feel of Woolworths Select ones but don't like the smell. I've gone back to Huggies for the box in her room and the Aldi ones (or another cheaper unscented one) in the kitchen to wipe her face after meals.

I used J&J with my first baby and was very happy with them but this time around I have been using Little Wishes I think they are even better. I usually buy them in a box of six so the price is great too.

I was using Huggies and then I saw the price of the Woolworths Brand. I was going to pay $13.96 for a 240pk of Huggies until I saw a box of the woolworths wipes for $14.96 for 480. I thought that was a bargain so I bought a box and put one on layby. I have no complaints about them wipes at all.

I use Johnsons+Johnsons, only because they are the ones I grew up with and trust. They are okay, you to have a knack of seperating them with one hand when they come out of the pack and you are holding bubs legs in the air though! Bit sticky!

I was using Huggies, but have now found the Aldi ones to be great. I use the Snug as a Bub tub for #1s and the Mamia unscented for #2s.

While I'm at home I try and use face washers as much as possible.

I used the J&J ones once and didn't like the smell at all. I felt like it was on me for the whole day and I didn't find it all that pleasant.

Good idea re the chux an chamomile tea! I might try that.

Howdy there,
We are using the J&J wipes and I prefer them because they are thinner and I can 'grab' the poo (I know gross) and wipe in crevases better! lol! But yeh the sticking together thing is ANNOYING! BUT ALAS! Huggies are just about to bring out a 'pop-up' box so they seperate the wipes! Woo hoo! And I'm sure you can use other wipes in the boxes....well I'm hoping anyway!

There's another thread in this, but I thought I owuld add it here as well. Huggies have got a pop up tub and only one wipe comes out at a time. It really is very cool. I raely get ecited about something but when i got it home from the shops I really did a little whoop for joy. SOunds silly I know, you know the saying "small things amuse small minds"

Face washers with water, or camomile tea, or teatree oil. :) Chuck them in the dry pail with the nappies and wash when the time comes.

i have the new higgies in hte pop top container they were $5.80 for the container and wipes they dispense only one per time and when you refill you need to buy the po top wipes for the container as the normal ones are designed not to work in the new ones. i also use the non scented ones as all of mine used to get a rash from the scented types

I like the Curash wipes. I find they're less irritating than some of the others.
