Egg Donor Seminar In Sydney 20 March 2006

I came across this information in Sydney's Child regarding a seminar to be held in Sydney this month. I hope it helps some of you lovely couples out there seeking donors.:fingerscrossed:

Sydney IVF Seminar Room
Level 2, 4 O'Connell Street, Sydney

All aspect of egg & sperm donation will be
covered. Speakers will include:
*an infertility specialist gynaecologist
*an infertility counsellor
*a recipient couple and an egg donor

Refreshments will be provided.
**Please note: Sydney IVF will only perform treatment with donor eggs or sperm when the donor is known to the recipient couple and all parties have met with our counsellors to discuss the implications of the procedure.

I sincerely hope some of you out there who have shown an interest in donating your eggs are able to attend this seminar and give some joy to those desperate couples out there who are longing for a family of their own. If you live in other states perhaps you could contact your nearest IVF Clinic and see if they run similar seminars.

The seminars are a great way to learn more and hear lots of different speakers from different perspectives, unfortunately a lot of clinics don't do.

Thankyou - would love a report back if anyone manages to get there.

thank you Sarahstarfish. :) I just wish there was more i could do for all of those couples who are looking for a selfless person to donate an egg.

I just wish I was younger to be able to help someone out.

lets hope all these lovely couples dreams come true real soon and that someone out there can help them out.
