What do you and your Dh(or Df,Dp) do for "US" time

Hello, well just trying to get a few ideas happening to spend a bit more "US" time with Dh as we seem to be fighting instead of spening quality time together:thumbsdown:. So what do you do with your Dh(Dp,Df) for "US" time.We usually go to see a movie or have dinner together but we always seem to be doing the same thing and desperately need some new ideas:rolleyes: .

board games or cards!! but, that didn't last too long with my ex coz i kept beating him & since we're both soooooo competitive he stopped playing with me coz he couldn't handle losing! lol.

maybe a picnic in the park? or a late-night stroll along the beach/ in the park? (unless you are in a dangerous area!)

It's really easy to get into a comfortable 'rut' in a relationship.

DH and I focus on our shared goals for life - continually reviewing and planning how, as a family, we can be financially where we want to be at different parts of our life. In doing this, we share a common hobby.

That said, we also go to some garage sales, out for a weekend leisurely breakfast or lunch and a bit of a window shop on a Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon is always individual time - he does sport whilst DS and I visit friends. Then on Sundays we generally have people over for a BBQ - the kids have friends to play with and it's casual and fun.

We both work full-time so generally any 'us' time is the 3 of us. But that's just the way we ike it:D

Dp and myself have always said that there is always time for us time and his right..

We go out to dinner, movies, breakfast (brunch), walks along the beach, when max goes to we generally crack open a bottle of wine and relax etc etc etc

But we always make a point to have a date you could say once a month...

Last months was dinner at centre point and walk along the beach after followed by wine and more wine on out deck when we arrived home...:smiliedance:

I just can't handle Stale relationships....:thumbsup:
