I found out yesterday that I am pregnant! I already have an 11mth old gorgeous boy. I have been bleeding on and off for 12 days now, I just had a gut feeling I was pregnant so I did 3 homes tests and I am. I had an u/s today which confirmed Iam 4 weeks, no heart beat was found though only the sac and no clots could be found. Has anyone else experienced this? My Dr could only tell me to wait and has sent me for blood tests.

I was warned before going for my first ultrasound that a heatbeat wudn't be picked up until 8/10 weeks. (although they found bubs at 6wks)

So Im fairly sure thats okey... 4 weeks is still quite early. A couple more weeks and you should be given some reassurance :)

4 weeks is very early they detected a heart beat with most of mine around the 6 week mark, only just though! Its natural to have a little spotting more than likely implantation bleeding though.
Congrats try just relax and wait until your next scan or request one when you are around 8 weeks so you know they can see a heartbeat then

Congratulations! Please try not to stress. U will not hear the heartbeat at 4 weeks. I have bled several times during my pregnancy (including at the moment!) and bubs has been okay every time.

Thank you all very much. I had my first HCG blood test today and came back normal for an early preg!! Iam estatic. I have another one on Monday to confirm all is progressing well.
