I have recently bought the Secure Turn-a-tot car seat and noticed in the instuctions for installing it (for rear-facing) it says to put the straps (the one that goes from the back of the seat to the clip in the back of the car) through the velcro bits on the seat cover, however the seat doesn't have any velcro bits!! I tried calling them but got no answer, they must still be on holidays.
Does anyone have this seat, and have you had the same problem?

ihave this car seat & the velcro bits are on either side of the seat on the outside of the bit that is level with the head - if that makes sense - the velcro is about 4 inches long & when the seat is in the reverse postion the velcro lines up with the straps going from the back of the chair to the car seat anchor - hope that helps - if not i can take a photo & email it to you :)

http://www.babysaver.com.au/images/products/infa_standard_carseat.jpg I found this picture on the internet... is that the velcro strap on the side at about head hight??
If so my seat definately doesn't have that!!!
I have a turn a tot and mine has the velcro bits are on either side at head hight.
You might have a new model of the turn a tot but there still using the same book..
I just looked up the Secure turn a tot and it doesn't have the velcor on it like the older Infa - Deluxe Turn-a-
tot Legend Like i have like the one in the pic.
So i would put it in and just put the straps to the side of the car seat we have 4 baby car seats and only 2 of them have the velcro on the sides it doesn't make any differentce if the straps are tight..

Thanks for your help guys :)
I finally spoke to Infa, and "Defa" you were right... the new models don't have the velcro strips but it still comes with the old book.
Glad it is all sorted i hope you like your turn a tot as much as i did it was one of the baby things i would recomened to anyone having a baby it was so easy..
If you has a car that has nice padded back seats like our i put a bit of hard plastic agains the seat and the baby seat as it was hard to turn as the car seat stuck to the baby seat...
Not a problem if you had leather seats would work very well..
Putting the plastic there doesn't change the saftey or anything of the baby seat it is just like having a plastic protctor on your car seat covers.
I had the turn-a-tot when DD was little. It was the seat she was in when we had our car accident and she was 100% ok. She only woke up from my hysteric screaming:o
