Hi there
Im in the process of thinking about setting up our nursery (how exciting) and I have read about all the stuff that is needed etc, but Im just wondering, how did you go about deciding how to decorate your nursery? I am going to find out in about 5 weeks whether we are having a boy or girl, and would like some inspiration or info of any great websites that have pics of nurseries. I dont know where to start, all I know is that I want it to look amazing. And recs of info or even pics of your own nurseries would be great! xx

Oooh how exciting!! I am so clucky reading your post!
I think that setting up the nursery is the best bit about being pregnant :smiliedance:
Here are some pics of Mason's nursery. The blue walls look heaps different in real life, they look really bright and a bit funny in the photos... in real life it's a really nice colour-

We based the decorating loosely on the Construction Zone range at Babies Galore but we had a family friend sew all the bits and pieces for us.
I can't wait to do a neutral nursery next time or even a PINK one!

How exciting - have fun shopping!!!
The only thing i regret spending $$$$ on is the whole cot set - the bumpers arent recommended anyway, neither are the doonas, and if u take them on and off each time bub has a sleep, u will be making a cot more than 5 times a day!! You can get some really cute blankets - thats what id be going for rather than the heavy quilt sets.
My favorite thing in my bubs room are they pictures that i painted him to match his blanket - a sailboat theme. I got 3 canvases from the cheap shop, and some acrylic paints, and they came out great - looked like those expensive ones u get a the baby shops!

This is a great thread. I am doing my nusery at the moment too and we are not finding out what we are having so it needs to be unisex. Once the baby is born though i think i will buy lots of pink or blue to add to the room. We are going with a green feature wall and green curtains.
I would love to hear and see what other people have done or are doing.

We're having a jungle/zoo animals theme, with lots of green, yellow and dark woods. It's all been inspired by a quilt panle that I'm slowly finishing the quilt to, and then by the Bubba Blue Jungle stuff from last year :)
I haven't got it all set up yet sadly, since my sister in law has taken over our 2nd bedroom for storage :(
Not too long till we can set it all up though!
