I have seen it, had no idea you could stay there I always thought it was a residential estate but I guess not... It is nice, great location. You have Charis Seafood the best seafood place on the coast and the Grande Hotel along with all the restaurants down that strip.

I've only ever driven past it but it is right on the corner of a fairly busy road 2 way road so make sure you request to stay toward the back of the place so you don't get as much traffic noise.
It is a super short walk to Harley Park on the broadwater which has a little inlet area with shade that is great for kids (and Charis Seafoods is right there too) There are heaps of pelicans that come in for a feed at certain times too. The Grand Hotel is opposite. It has a few restaurants there as well.
There is a great Thai restaurant a little further up the road call Thai Lana? too.
Not to far from the Grand Hotel (along the water front on Marine Parade) is a building called the Aqua Building. Baskin and Robbins icecreamery is there as well as some other restaurants.
Pretty good location and you can see Seaworld in the distance and it is a cheap taxi ride away.
Harbour town discount outlets shopping centre is a short ride away as well.

Enjoy the Coast, it is great here.
