Mmmmm *drools* you just had to post about cof loaf didn't you :p
Here's a few different cob loaf dip recipes to help out.
1) Spinach cheesy dip
packet frozen chopped spinach
300ml tub sour cream
packet philly cheese
packet of french onion or spring vegetable soup.
Thaw and drain the spinach and mix with the soup mix and the cream and cheese, put in the cob loaf and put in the oven for 15-20 mins and serve.
2) A different variation of spinach dip
I pkt frozen spinach
1 small jar mayo (whole egg is best) approx 300g
1 container sour cream
I pkt spring vegetable soup
Heat cob loaf in the oven until warm in the middle and crusty on the outside. While it is heating defrost the spinach and heat over the stove / in the microwave until warm. Mix together all ingredients in a bowl.
Remove cob from oven, cut off top (and keep). Pull out all the bread from the center leaving a shell. Pour the spinach mixture into the cob. Use the warm bread from the middle for dipping and the lid to keep the mixture warm.
3) Spinach and mushroom
1 (250g) packet frozen spinach
1 (285 g) can champignon mushrooms, chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped finely
1 (30g) packet spring vegetable soup mix
1 (30g) packet onion soup mix (optional)
500g sour cream
1 loaf bread, to serve (cobb loaf)
1. Defrost spinach and remove any excess water.
2. Combine spinach, champignons, onion, soup mixes and sour cream.
3. Leave in fridge for at least 4 hours for flavours to combine.
4. Cut a circle around cobb loaf and pull out bread leaving crust intact.

6. Serve with cut up bread.
4) Bacon cheesy dip
200grams diced bacon
200grams grated cheese
1/2 cup chopped shallots
300ml sour cream
packet philly cheese
combine all the ingredients and put into the loaf and put in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.

1 x cup grated Cheese
1 x cup mozzarella Cheese
1 x cup cream

In a bowl, mix together ingredients.

Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place lid back on cob loaf and place bread chunks around loaf on tray, bake for another 10 minutes.
