Help - totally stressed!!

Hi out there,

this is my first posting ever, so not sure of most things!!??

Let me try and get the coding right...

I need to hear others experiences of pregnancy symptoms and also test with BFN.

DH and I just started trying 5 weeks ago. AF due Tue 7th, so 3 days late. Symptoms started on Sunday - very nauseas, very very tired, constantly feeling sick.

Did test last night and first wee this morning and BFN TOTALLY SHOCKED!! I was convinced I was pg. I have bought another test just now, and really want to take it soon, but know morning wee is the best. I don't have sore boobs, but normally do leading up to AF, so totally confused

I have booked in for a Dr's appt on Monday, but just can't stand not knowing.

Please please help with any advice or similar stories.

I wish I could tell you that yes you are pg! But you know I can't! If it helps though I got BFN on every urine test no matter what and I was still pg!

When did you actually figure out that you were pregnant?

Did you have symtoms? When did you go to the Dr's?

Had a similar thing - false negatives are common, but false positives are rare, be careful not to put too much pressure on yourself - I basically talked myself into morning sickness the first month, u can also delay your period from starting if really stressed- the more pressure the less fun it is to have sex - etc etc, just relax, (it took 3 months 4 us to get pg and it was only after i stopped stressing!!!) Doctor's blood test picks up pg hormones from really early, but have heard of false negatives if earlier than 4 weeks pg. Make an appointment, the blood test will be back usually within 12 hrs

I had spotting on the first day of my period, my aunties a midwife so i phoned her and she said do a test i did and was pregnant...the spotting happend with both mine...oh and itchy nipples!..:laughing:

Maybe wait until the morning...My best friend did 2 negetive PT and she was preg so you never know....good luck and :fingerscrossed: let us know

It took me about a week after AF was due for a BFP - all the time I was getting BFN's. Finally I got a very feint line and went to the docs who did another urine test...which was BFN! Thankfully he did a blood test and I got the results the next day confirming my pregnancy and hcg levels of 256! The brands I were using were supposed to be sensitive to 25hcg. I have no idea why it didn't pick up on the tests (I did quite a few) but I have a very real 9 month old now! BTW I had no preg symptoms either.

I think that I will just wait until Monday and see the Dr... and try and relax, but gee it is hard.
