Hey everyone, after the birth of DD i got implanon (the rod in your arm) to prevent any more accidents until we are ready for #2
But i cant shake the feeling that im pregnant again, so im wondering is it possible to get pregnant on implanon? Does anyone have a friend or experienced it themselves?
Thanks gals

From what I've read about it, having had it before, its pretty rare to get pregnant. Only 1 in 100 women or something like that. Rare but not impossible, I'd go take a test just to be sure.

I had the implanon in and stupid doctor didn't test for pregnancy before she put it in and i was pregnant and it caused me to miscarriage and i became quite ill.
Anythings possible so i'd test if you're unsure!

I had implanon in for almost 3years. Had it put in 12 weeks after DS was born.
I would have AF maybe once every 3 months but it was a bit heavier and ran for 7 - 10 days some times.
I've never been pregnant on it. It works pretty quickly and normal cycle is supposed to kick back in once you come off it too.
I had it in for almost three years and would bleed about every 5 months - getting more often towards the end of the three years.
I think the only way you can get pregnant is if it has been inserted incorrectly.
I work in health and have never seen anyone get pregnant on it.

I had implanon for 2 years. I found i got pregnancy symptoms when i had it removed. Eg, morning sickness, tender breasts, and extremelly tired.
I read that in the studies of implanon 100 women out of 100000 fell pregnant and that was because it hadn't been inserted correctly.

I have an implanon in at the moment and have had it since august 06. Peiple kept telling me you could get pregnant, but I did a test and I'm not. Plus I've been told if you can feel it, then you can't get pregnant.
I'm getting mine out an dgoing onto the pill next week, but that's another story entirely!
If you're unsure do a test, but it's highly unlikely.

I've been on Implanon since November 06 and I go in waves of feeling pregnant and not... I haven't had a period since it was inserted either.
