Seeking a GP in Brisbane

Hi

I am seeking a nice GP in Brisbane, preferably the north side. The one I have been taking my 12 week old little girlto just doesn't listen to me and treats melike an idiot. She has suffered bad wind for ages and I am pretty sure she has reflux. All the GP says is "all babies get reflux". I am hoping to get a referral to a Paed as well.

This is probably really unhelpful as I am on the southside.. But I see a doctor called Dr Adelle Addison in Parkinson. She is so wonderful. She knows a lot about breastfeeding and is just great. She also helped my bub with her reflux troubles and always asked me when I went for a check up if I needed more Zantac. (The bottle is like 500mls and I only ever used like 1ml a day) haha. She listens to everything you have to say and never makes you feel stupid.

I see Dr Suzi Ma at Eatons Hill. She's lovely and I fully recommend her. She is at Eatons Hill Medical Centre and it is her own practice. Lovely surgery.

Hi. Our doctor is James Wilmott at Nundah Medical Centre... absolutely wonderful :). Not sure if he's taking on new patients at the moment though... he has month-old twins of his own!

Thank you all for your help. I have managed to find a good doctor at the Medeco at Nundah however if that doesn't work I will definitly try the doc at Nundah Medical Centre.:)

If you are having problems with a doc diagonising reflux - Dr Robin Lee who is at the Nundah Doctors Surgery (other side of Friendly care chemist to Medeco) she is excellent. Her son had (what is now called) reflux when he was little so she understands what you are going though.

Note that she is a temp and is only there for the next 2 weeks though.

Good luck with the Doctor's - I can understand what you are going through. My ds has just been diagonised and he is a different little boy now that he is on medication.

I agree doctor Suzi is great.. But if you wanted somewhere that bulk bills and is awesome i recommend Dr Anna Fitzgerald at warner.. If you want any more info pm me...Hope you find someone that is perfect for you and bubs:)

Well the second visit to Dr A A was not up to scratch. He took a mobile phone call during the consultation and shuffled us out early. So we have moved on again.:thumbsdown:

Dr Jane Klug at the Fernlands Radius Medical Centre in Ferny Hills is fantastic. She's been our Gp for ages now, was amazing with DS1's reflux and his anaphylaxis, and my entire family now sees her because she's so great.

I am looking for a doctor for my nearly born son!! We live in The Gap and are hoping to find someone in the nearby suburbs who bulk bills. Anyone know of anyone?
