Look I just *know* there's a few of us out there....

Where are you hiding?!

I'm in McMahons point, and having just returned from UK am feeling rather displaced and lonesome and really wanting to meet with other Uk mums.

I've been here 3 years in April. I work (used to) in advertising as a writer and hoping to go back soon. I have a 6 month old daughter who is gorgeous (must post piccie) but finding it hard and feeling a bit alone... the cultural diffs feel more diff now.

Please don't be shy.... message here or PM me....

Cheers!

Hi Liz,

I am not a mum (hope to be one day though) I work as a nanny and will be starting a new job in Lavendar Bay at the end of feb, I work in Fairlight for 3 days and the other 2 will be in Lavendar Bay, I will be looking after a 2 year year old and 5 month old so if you are interested I would love to catch up for a coffee and a chat.
I am from north wales and have been in Oz for a year. I have been working with children for 20 years and really enjoy what I do, would just love to have my own too.
Hope to hear from you soon

Hi Liz,

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and from the South East coast in England. I am not actually in North Sydney though I live in the Blue Mountains and gosh I feel isolated here. Luckily I have a great husband who is really supportive even though I get fed up being up here.

We have only been in Australia for just over a year now and I can understand how you are feeling.

Sorry I am not close I just wanted to message and hope that you find local people soon.
