Do Berry Plush nappies NEED the insert??

Just wondering if Berry plush nappies need to be used with the snap in insert or can you use any liner/booster? I have already bought one BP and the BP insert and I really want a few more cos they feel sooooo nice. I am just wondering though if I can go a bit cheaper on the insert? Also i have some bum genius fitteds could I use them with the BP cover? Also I am buying for a new bub (not due til April) so what sizes do you think I should get? Or should I just get some Blueberrys as they are one size?? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Of course you can! :yes: I've used my bp cover with a terry flat, and also with just a couple of microfibre inserts laying inside. Worked well, although not as absorbant as the bp insert.
Heaps of people just use the covers and don't ever use the inserts.

Great choice - aren't the bp devine?

As for the newborn, I've been using terry flats & totsbots bamboozles fitteds teamed with bummis PUL covers, BBH magicalls AIO's and GK's on Lincoln. He's 11 weeks now. The terry's fitted best when he was super little... I'd recommend them for the first few weeks.

Oh I just love them!! I have only bought the Oceans one in a small so far. Have you tried Blueberrys? I am thinking they might be worth a go as they are one size and I am worried about having too many small sizes that bub will grow out of.

Yep as Ziggie said you certainly can !

Alot of AI2's & even pockets can be used this way !

I used Boof's old GK's as covers over terry's with Squeak when he was a newbie as the GK's sat funny when used as a pocket. Oh & they fit over most fitteds as a cover like BBH or Raphaels.

I haven't tried blueberries yet. I've heard nothing but rave reviews on them though.

I worried about Linc growing out of them so quickly too, that's why I hardly got any that were in small sizes. It seems such a waste, doesn't it?

What a great idea! I never thought of using any of my hundreds of gk's as a cover on linc... That'll save me buying more bummis in the next size up - thanks Ally :D.

It's crazy how addicted you can get to buying MCN hey! I still have a while to go before bubs is even here and I already have 31 nappies!

MCN's are hugely addictive & i really wont go into how much ive spent over these last few years or even how many nappies i have cause well it always leaves people doing this :eek:

Blueberry's are just gorgeous ! I reaaaally like ours but as Ziggie yet again said the fact they are sized makes it a drama. I just got Squeaks a little bigger cause i figured it was better they last a little longer.

Im about to sell or swap a few of my CK's which sadly Squeak has grown out of :( .... Oh & actually some VB's too .... Oh how quickly they grow !
