Well just thought I'd announce it in here as well....

I got engaged yesterday. Best birthday and christmas present ever!

yay:smiliedance: No plans to marry straight away, maybe 2 years time, havent talked about that yet!

But it is the most gorgeous ring ever and he knows me, as it is just what I would have picked! And he was so sweet and shed a tear when he was asking me!

Thanks ladies,

I will have to get use to calling him DF on here instead of DP.....

Mum wasnt all that interested, but I am happy and thats the most important thing!

Thanks for sharing in my joy everyone......

We have already started planning although not marrying until early 2009!

Although our guest list consists of 20 people, so not a very social affair! But small and intimate saves us money I guess!

CONGRATUALTIONS!!!!

I think 20 people would be a good size wedding. Obviously they are the closest people you have in your life, so you wont be paying for a bunch of people you barely speak to or dont have much to do with.
I think when I EVENTUALLY get my ring and start organising things I will be cutting a lot of relatives off the list that I dont speak to that often......
