Hi, does anyone know at what age it's a good time to turn bubs around in the Baby Bjorn carriers? DS seems to want to look around a lot (4 months), but then he also wants to put head on my chest and fall asleep when he chooses to. So not sure weather I should try him other way around yet?

Also, anyone's bubs hate the pram whilst out shopping? Can't get DS to settle in the pram when he's tired, but he'll happily settle in Baby Bjorn...makes it difficult to try any clothes on etc..

Thanks.

Yep, my little one did not like the pram at all. We turned her around in the baby bjorn at around 4 months. She had great back and neck strengh so she was able to hold herself up without any problems. I just watched for her getting tired then turned it around so she could go to sleep
Hope I've helped.

My little man has always hated his pram and loved his pouch. I actually used to plan shopping trips around nap times because he slept so much better and longer in his pouch than his cot. Not so now, too much to see, but he sleeps in his cot now so its not a problem. You are so right though - very limiting on trying things on lol... I do a lot of grabbing and returning even now.

He has got better with his pram as he's got older (8 months now). It started to improve once he got really interested in toys but on the rare occasions I use it I always pack the pouch into the pram so that I can carry him and push if I need and I have to have heaps of toys ready to produce as if by magic once the novelty is gone. I have discovered he also like trolleys, which I tried once he was sitting up well. So it may be to do with height and the ability to see everything that's going on (or could be mum running up the aisle like a mad thing:rolleyes: ).

I think I started turning him forward facing at about 3-4months (had really good head control even as a newborn) but I turn him back around to me once he starts to get a bit weary or grizzly.
