its actually the edge's daughter sian who is 7 or 8 that is quite ill and has lekaemia she has had it for a number of years and she is being treated in hospital atm. looks like they will not be back to finish the vertigo tour until november. hopefully she will fight this episode of leukaemia.:(

Thats really sad i had tickets to go to the melb one but who cares as long as his daughter gets better.

thats it they are saying to keep a hold of the tickets and when they know any furher info about when they will reschedule for they will let people know

My boss is a die-hard U2 fan so I just sent him an email with the stuff in the thread because I know he'll be freaking out at the office today.

i heard his daughter was sick, i didn't realise HOW sick!! the poor guy! :crying:

a radio station in brissie is trying to make their own U2 band for some kicks! lol. they say if you can sound/ play an instrument like any of the members to contact them & their going to put together a band with the finalists. not sure what their plans are for the band, tho.

My sister was going to Adelaide concert from Perth and the airline (Virgin I think) has said that it will reschedule all plane tickets because there were so many Perth people flying to the Adelaide concert. I thought that was pretty good of the airline!!

DP works in one of the big 5 star hotels here in Melbourne (won't tell you which one ;) ) but U2 were meant to stay there. They had booked and PREPAID for 133 rooms!! I don't know how many days they were going to stay but that's a lot of money to forfeit!
