I went for a Bummis swim nappy online just because I love the covers. It works really well. I don't know about the ones in the shops, though.

I have a couple of the swim nappies from Kmart I think it was around $10 from memory.

I find them to be very good but I haven't had any poop incidents in them yet but they hold the wee well for DS.

Haven't tried them. An empty pocket would work ok too.
Unfortunately we had to deal with a poo in swimmers last Summer and it wasn't solid. :o
I have used just pull up type swim nappy (can't remember the name) and that would work wellin that instance I would imagine. I also have an Eenies but never used it. That ties up so I think it makes it more secure. I also have Motherease, I don't think I used it.

I just use a Bummis cover as swim nappy. Or an empty pocket. Haven't tried the ones you mention.

I got one from Big W... it was like, $5 and was hot pink.

It worked fine. But then, DD has never ever pooed in water... either the bath or a pool/beach so in the end it was just useless. :p

I always put them under a pair of togs though...

I bought 2 online from nurture nappies and they are fantastic, especially the imse vimse with the side clips. I think they were about $18 each. I didn't know kmart had them when I purchased online.

i have a monkey doodlez and havent used it yet.

it looks like it will hold an 'accident' really well though if it happens. has nice thick soft elastic around the legs ;)

and cute to boot

i got mine too from either big w or target. it fitted nicely around the legs and waist but since we never had a poo in the water i can't tell you how well it works. i think they are worth the $5-10 you spend on them because the kids grow so fast it isn't worth buying anything more expensive. i just teamed them up with a rash shirt and used them as the swimmer bottoms.

Sounds like this is the one time that MCN and department stores actually go together (I'm thinking of how tragic Fluffies are and how many people think they are Modern Cloth Nappies :hair:)

I'm gonna get Ariene a pair :D Thanks!
