Hi ladies,

Well I am making the transition from formula to cows milk and so far it's going great! :fingerscrossed:

My question though is how do I transport cow's milk when we're out? I mean my nappy bag has an insulated bit, but I'm worried about the milk going off if we're out for a long period of time? Will this happen or am I being silly?

It's really bugging me, so I thought I'd ask

What about the single serve UHT boxes of milk. You could pop a couple of those in your bag, they don't need to be kept cold.

Can babies have full cream UHT milk?? Not sure of the difference between fresh milk and UHT, sorry if this is a bad suggestion

I bought a small ice brick from Coles for a couple of dollars & put this in my insulated pocket & then put Liv's drink in with it, it always keeps it cold & is perfect size not too bulky :)

btw - uht milk is fine to use - it is just heat treated rather than chemically treated - so probably better!! Just doesn't taste as good, but we have it here incase we run out and bub doesn't even notice the difference - yet!

Yeah go the mimi ice-brick!! Thats what I do too!!

Also, sometimes I will buy a small thing of milk from the milk section at woolies. You know the 300 ml ones. While I'm out & about!!
