I'm thinking about heading down during my second trimester to hunt out my baby things ..
The only real baby shop up here is Babyland and they don't have what i'm looking for HAHAHA
I know what i want but I can't explain it hehe just need to find it!

Where abouts do you guys baby shop?
Where are the best places?

I'm desperate for a cradle this time .. don't know why

We bought Olivers furniture from Baby2Kids in Rosny! They have so much stuff and LAYBY! :D

Let us know when you are coming down, we should try and tie it in with a meet!

Okay...

On the Eastern Shore (non-Hobart side of the river) there is Baby2Kids which is near Eastlands, they sell everything.

At Eastlands there is Kmart and Big W

On Hobart Side there is Babyworld which is next to Toyworld in Argyle St, which has a lot of everything too. The city has the usual stuff like Target, Esprit, Myer, a new shop next to Yeltour, Pumpkin Patch, Harris Scarfe etc etc City also has a new-ish maternity-wear shop called Bun-In-The-Oven, opposite Just Cuts in the top of Cat and Fiddle arcade

Mother Goose is along Main Road Moonah. Glenorchy has Big W and Target, which is a better Target than the city for Bubba stuff... Best and Less.... Um i'm still thinking!

Kingston has Mother Goose, Drysdales (which sell cute bubba clothes), Big W....

Sandy Bay has Stork...

I can't think of ANYTHING else!

I heard baby2kids is great .. so I think i'll head there first!
I moved a lot while pregnant with Tilli and by the time I got back to tassie i was close to 30 weeks pregnant and didn't feel like shopping so everything was rushed.

Meeting up sounds great!

OI! I heard that!

Ohh yes hurry up and come shopping!
I just LUUUUUURVE to shop and I do like a bargain! LMAO! Baby2kids is good to look around but it's really expensive - I prefer babyworld because they're lovely girls in there and usually do a good discount on a few things. Mother Goose in Kingston is far better than Moonah because it's a newer & bigger store.

It depends on what you need really, but for things like linen etc you can't go past target/kmart/bigw when they have their nursery sales.

Let us know when you're coming down and we can meet up!

Oh I'm so jealous right now Anna :hissy:

Joe won't let me have any lights on the outside of the house, he does not want everyone stopping out the front all hours of the night :crying: All I want is just some plan fairy lights!

Ha! Mum 'just' wanted some plain fairy lights 5 years ago....

Now Dad's covered the house, so much so he has enlisted my brother's and Daniel's help to put them up, every year since.

This year it took 4 days/2 weekends time to put all of them up, not including the few strings he managed to smuggled onto the house...

Atleast it gave mum and I some christmas shopping time away from the boys!

Heaps of people stopped by to see them, it was great!
